Apparel tech show starts Jan 12

The tenth edition of Garmentech Bangladesh show will be held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre
in Dhaka from January 12-15, showcasing the latest machinery and technology in the garment sector.

Zakaria Trade and Fair International and ASK Trade and Exhibitions Ltd will organise the event, said a statement yesterday.

The premier technology and allied services international tradeshow for the RMG industry in the country, GARMENTECH Bangladesh completes
10 years with GARMENTECH Bangladesh 2011 scheduled to be held between January 12 and 15, 2011 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre, Dhaka.

Been organized by Zakaria Trade & Fair International and ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, this premier technology event for the RMG industry will have on display latest in sewing, finishing, laundry, embroidery, CAD/CAM, Printing technology for global leaders in the respective field.

IFA Sourcing Fair Dhaka 2011 is a platform conceived to address the apparel fabrics and garment accessories sourcing needs of the Bangladesh clothing and knitwear manufacturers and exporters.

Being held concurrent to the 10th edition of Garmentech Bangaldesh the most visited tradeshow by the RMG industry, participants get the assured opportunity of meeting the entire cross section of the clothing industry, thus guaranteeing wide exposure to their products and services.

The RMG sector is expected to grow despite the global financial crisis of 2009. As China is finding it challenging to make textile and foot wear items at cheap price, due to rising labor costs, many foreign investors, are coming to Bangladesh to take advantage of the low labor cost.
